Hi, everyone - I have probably read about 5000 CGN posts, so I might as well put one up myself. This site has been a great source of knowledge (and opinion) for me over the past few months.

I am new to shooting - I only got my PAL and RPAL earlier this year. I have four rifles and a handgun in my safe, ranging from .22 to .44.

Personally, I am a middle-aged dad who works in law enforcement, but not in a sidearm-carrying job. That gives you a pretty good idea of my outlook.

welcome Nasho! I just finished taking both my RPAL and PAL and am just waiting on the paperwork. seems you're already enjoying the forum, let's hope it continues to be that way! :D
 
Hi, Ontgunner

I've spent most of my life in either Vancouver or Toronto, where hunting and firearm ownership are less "normal". My dad never owned a firearm. So my first exposure was a year ago when a friend invited me to the range to try a couple of his. Now I'm right into it. (There does seem to be an addictive quality to making holes loudly...)
