First range day, any warnings?

Had mine in the bush today for the first time...LOVE IT...LOVE IT....LOVE IT. New stock, new scope rail, new rings, old scope used to be on a shot gun.
target 30 feet away, I hit pretty much where i was aiming, standing free hand.. Will have to take her to the gun club to finish sighting her in. Pretty impressed.
 
Buy a handloading rig...........your soon gonna get fed up handing over the pay cheque to feed this addiction.....

And of course.... " point away from face when firing"
And if it does blow up in yer face.............dont panic. At least yer #### didnt fall off.
Just use common sense, go to the range or somewhere safe and shoot the **** out of it, and get someone to take pics of the **** eating grin that will be yours forever

You young uns seem to want to live forever,grab a hold of yer #### and throw caution to the wind now and then............its fun.

It shoots great!, I'm very impressed how little it kicks, I can bang off 5 rounds at 50 yards and keep them all on target. I only had one jam, the round didn't want to feed, but I think the round was sitting forward in the magazine, so after that I made sure all the rounds were at the back of the mag and went smooth from then on.
 
I read a few tips on the cleaning of the oil, I took it all apart and placed it in a pale of warm water for a couple of minutes, after drying it all off and oiled it up, it was spic and span.
