first range day with the DA556

havent shown you guys any pictures so I thought maybe a few of the newly purchased ar might be ok to break the ice.

It has shot awesome so far. Has almost 1000 rounds through it in the last 3 weeks and has yet to fail in any way. Quick shot of the factory vs a few little changes. The lower one has a troy 11" rail to go on as well and a new muzzle device then its done and ready to just abuse.

Very nice! What optic / riser are you running? I'm trying to figure out how to get my 30mm red dot cowitnessed with the front sight on mine.

Its a strikefire with the ar mount its a 1/3 witness I believe. Suits me well as I will be running a flip down mbus when the new troy rail gets mounted

Nice paint job on the M305 stock, did you do it yourself?

Optic is a bit high on the m305...need a riser for it. Yes I did it myself. Few minutes and a couple cans of krylon

Might be time to update this one. Da556 was enjoy so much I got rid of it and moved up to a bit better ar builds...
