Well I just have to say it's a keeper! I was not expecting a lot due to the fact I am not set up to load for the 375 yet and just took a box of fed 270g soft points to throw down range. I was surprised it did as well as it did. I was shooting from one of the block rests off the bench that our range supplies to sight her in. I pulled the first shot, wasn't sure what to expect but the recoil was a fair amount less than I was expecting. I find my .45-70 guide gun more punishing with heavier loads. Don't get me wrong I can feel a bit after 15 off the bench and a few off hand, but nothing serious. Anyway here is a pic of my last 3 shot group off the bench at a 100. The first two were right on top of each other then the third went high, but better than what my 06 doest with the feds(bottom pic).
Here is what my new model 70 does with fed 150's. It never really liked them for factory ammo. If I switch to win silver tips the groups tighten nicely. Need to take some time and do some loading I guess.
All and all though, I love that 375! Handles great and is a blast to shoot, literally!
