First Range trip with new CZ550 375

Thanks for the advice! I will check out the fit on the tang. Mine does have the dual cross bolts as well as the front lug.
I like the idea of those rings and will be taking a look for a set for sure. The burris I have on there now has plenty of eye relief, I actually have it set back a bit far but it lines up well enough for me. What's the length of that barrel Geologist? It looks great. Did you have it cut down?
I am looking forward to working up some loads, so far I'm not impressed with what the shops carry for factory loads around here. Really only fed power shok I was shooting.
Thanks again for the comments and advice. This has been one of the most fun rifles I have purchased to date for some reason.

I had Tom Norman chop it down to 20". It makes it a little handier to use when the going gets tight.

Here's what the Warne QD mediums look like.

Tom Norman, from Abbottsford? My great uncle is Ron Smith from Winborne Alberta. I have thought about having him do the same thing, but it's just too new to me yet. Also I really don't know how much I need it to handle quicker yet. But I sure like the looks of the short barrel.
