Check out Costco for a gun safe. I just purchased a really nice First Alert 7.7 cu. ft. fire-proof safe for $339. Anything comparable out there would be close to $1000. It's a "14 gun" safe but I would say it would reasonably hold 8-10 rifles and several handguns.

My First was a SIG P220R in full stainless steel. I like the idea of owning a lot of handguns but the only way i could do this would be to own a lot of Norico stuff. Personally, i like quality of quantity hence my 1000$ handgun. I plan of spacing out my purchases over many years or decades. My next pistol will be a .22lr semi auto, this i hope to get sooner rather than later as ammo prices for .45 is crazy. I will start reloading very soon.
