First Rimfire for My Son: Some Advice / Help Reguest

I had a Ruger 77/22 for a while and it was laser accurate with decent ammo. I regret ever selling that gun.

Have you given any thought to a 17 hmr? I have a Savage Mako that is a blast to shoot very small targets with. It's a fun caliber for groundhog, squirrel and crows.

I would also agree on a CZ of some sort; it will be a rifle that he will always have and enjoy to shoot. I have a 452 Ultralux that will always be with me and at Christmas I bought my sons (aged 9 and 7) a CZ 452 Scout that they love to shoot and have become quite a good shot already.

CZ or an older Bruno; Henry has a lot of white metal in them; Bruno/CZ are steel; and they sure do shoot!
