Hi all,

I tried a shotgun for the first time, and it was a hoot, so I picked up a nice 870 Tactical with some Magpul bits (still need to adjust the stock): Any tips besides practice a lot?

Get some dummy rounds and practice reloads maybe? Only other thing I'd imagine would be to make sure the chamber is smooth so shells don't get stuck while trying to cycle it. Seems to be common problem for express based 870's.

That's not just an Express Tactical with some Magpul on it.
That's a Magpul edition Express Tactical. So you got the cheek risers, 6 round mag tube, Supercell recoil pad, and most importantly, it has a cerakote finish.

Pickup the 100 rd bulk canadian tire or walmart packs and get to the range. If you want to practice try hammering out rounds and keeping the tube fed.

Any plans for a side saddle? What's your intent with the new shottie?
