Just wanted to follow up on my original post. It has been some time that I have been actively shooting my 12ga Remington 870, both out in the wild and on the range. This thing is so much fun to shoot. I didn't took me much before I was able to put 5-10 slugs in 6-8inch group at 50m (one big hole) and on 100m I am always on paper (more on bottom half)
I have to say I have a heavily underestimated front bead. All those plans to put a red dot or rifle/ghost ring sights now dont make sense.
