I just got my first SKS - has a Tapco stock, etc

also with it came 300 rnds of 7.62x39. About 1/2 the ammo is in 20 rnd blue/green boxes like i have seen in many stores. The other 1/2 are vacuum sealed 10 rnds on stripper clips.

Any differences? Or same #### just diff packaging?

Yea i know all about corrosive ammo.

Just wondering if the ammo was 2 diff manufactures. But looks like a poor soul had to split them up into 10 rnd and repackage.

Going to the range tomorrow with her and my buddies new CZ858. Will probably have videos to post here too.

I'm pretty sure the ammunition in the cardboard is older surplus and the plastic wrapped stuff is 1990's production.

I think it's 4.20 at SIR here per box or 3.60 if you bought it by the crate.
Mind you I've bought 2 cases at 169.00 this past year from other dealers.
That works out to 3.02$ a box.

got out today with it......

Weeeeeeeeeeeee!

Semi is fun!:ar15:

Fairly accurate too. i need to adjust the front site a bit....but it sure is fun coming from a bolt action .303!

Best price I've seen in Ontario-ville is $199 / crate plus $14.95 shipping + $10 haz-mat fee.
I'l like to know if that $169 is available around here.
