first snow good for cottontails?

here in brantford we got about 2-3 inches of snow yesterday and today is a clear and calm yet chilly sunny day. i think its -8 or so right now.

would today be a good day to go out and try to get the bunnies goin or would it be best to wait a couple days due to the snow from yesterday?

To me fresh snow means fresh tracks, I say yes.
