First snow goose hunt

Well I got invited to a snow goose hunt down near Forrestberg Alberta. The wind was howling to say the least. We ended up with 22 snows and a couple of ducks. My new lab had yet to retrieve his first goose and he did a great job. We also saw many thousands of mallards that were feeding in the hail damaged pea fiels. There were two small sloughs on either side of a gravel road near our field that were literally full of mallards, a beautiful sight. FS

I've heard that snows don't make jerky as well as Canada geese, so ya maybe look into getting some pepperoni made up. FS
