Before I get a lot of negative comments about the Norc Tokarev in 7.62x25 let me say that this is the first jam I have experienced in over 1500 rounds.
At the range a few weeks ago I shot it with my left hand and after a few rounds the slide locked back about a quarter inch and stuck there.
I had to take the slide off the receiver. From there the barrel was still stuck in the slide. A gentle tap with the handle of a screw-driver freed the barrel.
The curious thing was that there was an unfired round in the chamber(the business end was always pointed down range so please no panic attacks about safety).
So what caused the barrel to lock into the slide? Was it a simple case of limp-wristing with my weaker hand? I usually shoot the pistol with both hands or my right hand.
Also these were found on a military range. Any idea what they might be?
