First Sunday Rifle hunt Seccessful!

This was the first year we were able to hunt on Sundays. One of the yonger guys was taking his grandpa out to his stand in the morning and came across a pair of bucks crossing the trail while the rest of us were starting to walk in. He took 2 shots with his 30-06 on the run. Wirst hit the elbo of the front leg, second took the shoulder and lungs. The deer dropped in the creek 40 yards from the trail. This is his 4th deer and the largest to date.

After that the weather turned nasty. We had warm days with lots of rain. The deer just vanished.
