Few weeks ago i picked up a Sabatti Urban Sniper in 6.5 Creedmoor from Marstar. Here are my first thoughts after my first range trip.
- first of, lets talk about the weight, this rifle does not feel like a 10lbs rifle. it actually feels a lot lighter and is actually pretty well balanced.
- i never was one to like thumbhole stocks but this one is pretty comfortable to handle and shoot and it also allows you to rest your thumb on top in a comfortable position.
- the adjustable cheek rest is comfortable and easy to adjust.
- the length of pull is a bit short for me ( i'm 6") and the rifle only comes with 1 spacer. planning on getting a couple more. That being said, the rifle is still very comfortable to shoot
- the action is really nice and smooth to operate with the 60 degree throw
- the trigger is nice and crisp with little to no slack in it. although advertised at 2.5lbs pull weight mine came in at just under 3lbs using my wheeler trigger pull gauge ( mind you my gauge could be off)
- the muzzle brake reduces the recoil to virtually nil, my Mossberg MVP in 5.56 has more recoil than that thing.
- mounted my Arken SH4 gen 2 on it and using Federal Gold Match 140gr i was able to get half MOA grouping right out of the box. Really looking forward to see what can be achieve with reloads.
**** Couple of things i did not like****
- my main beef against the rifle is the bolt knob, its to small and not comfortable to operate, it's only saving grace is the fact that it's threaded and easy to swap out
- Next, the fact that the trigger is not adjustable is a bit of a bummer

Overall i am very happy with the rifle, no regrets in buying it whatsoever.

I’m surprised no one is commenting on these rifles, the reviews online seem to be very good.

Too heavy to carry. Too short for long range. 308 is outdated for precision gamers. Too expensive for a basic build. Too basic for a dedicated shooter.

This is only to the question of "why". Your own experience is always paramount.

The Sabatti hunter in 223 caught my eye on the Marstar website if I read it correctly it will not be available until June 2023
Would like to know the barrel length since it doesn't specify exactly would like 24 inch

Action looks the same as the Franchi Momentum, those use the Sabbati Rover triggers and have some adjustments to them.
