Hi everyone, I know it is kinda off topic, but sorry I can't find a better location to post it.
so I just received my outdoor card and ready to go hunting!
and as a newbie to hunt, I have few questions,
1: are there any places in Ontario that allows hunters to spend night in their own tent and allows them to make campfire? instead of sleeping in a cottage.

2: normally how much does it cost for a hunting trip?
I searched online and found out most of the lounge costs $700+/week. of course that included cottage, water& electricity, even wifi. but I want to spend my week in an old school way, let say carrying a big rucksack, and rifle, with my mates, in the evening we set up a campfire and tents, sleep in the forrest. is it possible to do so? and how much for that normally? (animal permit, township fee etc)

every comment is appreciated.

Get a good used slide in camper for the crew cab truck, load it up / stock it up and go hunting, have fun, always keep an eye open all the way for a good camping spot (out of the way of main traffic in the bush / logging roads etc.) Many many places in Mb like that, should be in Ont too, but can't say for sure. Search for Crown Land area's. And please don't leave any garbage in the bush. Another option is to find a small town near the hunting area and rent a motel room. Party hardy, but be sure to get up early and be back in the bush the next morning without a banging head! Good luck hunt'en, shoot straight and keep safe.
P.S. It's always nice to have at least one matette along, ya know the dishes, keep the fire going etc!

yep, you just can't beat that kind of life! I've done it for decades!
Well, private land says no, without permission anyway. Crown Land says, check further, and most likely says yes! But do double check. Could be some Municipal blockades in some locations. Don't give up, that hot spot out there is your's to be found!
