Name is Darren. Waiting for for my RPAL to finish processing. Randomly decided I wanted to buy a 22 for ####s and giggles. Now I have no idea what to buy.

Hello and welcome. Everyone's progression into firearms acquisition and use is a bit different. Personally, I collect different kinds of handguns, but when I was shooting (really don't any more -- old), I loaded for, and shot 9mm handguns the most. Enjoy the site.

what kinda 22 are you talking? i stayed away from 22 when i first got into shooting then one day on impulse i bought a henry repeating arms lever 22 rifle and soon realized i made a big mistake so cheap so fun ill never look back!
also you cant really go wrong with any single action 22 rifle (lever,pump,bolt,etc.) the semi autos and pistols however are a lot more finicky in my modest experience couple that with cheap crappy mass produced ammo and i think theyre more trouble than there worth
