are my sights off there?
or is it normal for the rear sight to be on the left
It could be possible that the previous owner would pull to the right when firing so he adjusted the rear sight all the way left to help accomadate it...

Sight pusher is the best way, especially since you have night sights. If you start whacking it with a drift after putting the slide in a padded vice, you could damage the vials in the sight.
A proper fitting sight pusher will easily move the sight in its dovetail without damaging the sight, slide or vials.
I agree that a sight pusher is the best method but PROPERLY drifting it with a PROPER sized BRASS drift will do the job just loverly.
The key is to hold the punch with firm pressure to the sight at all times and don't allow bounce, using light taps with a smaller hammer.
Glock sights are some of the easiest sights to swap or adjust. If you are in YYC I could give you a hand.
You mean you dont own a delrin punch and a small hammer? As much as you are talking about to move it..if you are carefull you can surely easily adjust yourself, it's not a big deal.
