First trip hunting (Pic Heavy)

Well I took my little one on her first hunting trip Saturday. Not a bunny to be seen but she had fun anyways, I'd go ahead a bit and she was very intent on following the "daddy tracks" with mommy. Good little tracker already, 2 yrs 4 mths old and she knows the difference between deer tracks, bunny tracks, puppy tracks, daddy tracks and baby tracks lol.

Not a very eventful day as nothing in the bush was moving but some pics are too good not to post.

That's great you're taking her, but yeah, ear protection!!! I wish I had caught on to earplugs a little earlier in life.

Well she loves the gunshots, I shot at a couple cattails to make a big puff and she kept saying again, again, one more lol. Just got mom to cover her ears over her toque and hood so it's basically the same as a pair of muffs. Second time she's seen a gun fired and both times she wanted me to keep going. She already knows not to touch guns if I'm not there and tell her it's ok so I think I'm on the right track as far as all that goes ...I hope.
