First Wanstalls Purchase

Been a long time since I posted on these boards. Just made my first purchase from these guys, and all I can say is "what an awesome experience". Walked in, spoke with some VERY knowledgeable folks about 1911's and walked out buying one of their remaining Les Baer customs. Waiting for the transfer to happen, however the experience from these guys made it great. Will absolutely buy from them again.

I actually bought my first purchase from there as well. Coincidentally a 1911 too :)
It's on it's way here now!
 
They are so awesome, that I pay the damned bridge toll.
Its the kinda shop you walk in and say " what you have those!!!??!!? Nobody has those!!! Why do you have those!!!??? "
Superb knowledge and they can convince you and your girlfriend that you need that new shorty shotgun even tho you already have three perfectly good shotguns lol. Top recomended shop in my books.
 
Their online service is top notch, grade A+++, Wanstalls is on the ball for sure. When I get in the mood for shopping, I visit Wanstalls first before any other retailer. love those guys to death.
 
You are all lucky, maybe 99% of the staff are ok but one of them #### on me like hell, i know, it was only a 2300.00$ rifle but because of that, they are on my black lits. I will spend my hard earn money were they are happy to give a minimum service to there customers.
Sorry for the good staff that work there, i had good service, but that ONE MAN SHOW ruined all that team effort.
 
Well, i Will not argue anyone, i have e-mais to back all i wrote and here is my experience
I have ordered a kel-tec RFB, been waiting patient for little over 1 year, i EVEN bought a other one at wolverine supply ( the A-TACS one on the forum ) while waiting for this one, then Gary ( a gentleman ) called me and told me that the one i have ordered showed up. Since i commited to buy, i told Gary i Will call back in few minute, i looked at my credit card balance but i have just bought a A5 stock ( The rhino camo on the forum ) and a scope from hirsh precision, so my card was loaded. I then e-mailed Gary RIGHT away told him we were wednesday i will pay my credit card and will pay the total amount by friday, the time they cash my paiement. I EVEN offer to do EMT of 1000$ per day ( maximum allowed )by the time they can use my credit card, Gary told me it's ok, no EMT, he will wait my credit card friday. Then BANG, thursday night, got a car accident, almost lost my 8yo daughter. So by the time was at hospital, my mind was far from the rifle. When i get back home on monday, i read DANIEL e-mail he sent on friday night or saturday morning, telling me that if i don't pay the rifle in total by saturday 2pm, they will sell it. When i read it, i called and e-mailed right away, from monday morning 9am.
When Daniel finally answered, he told me he is sad for my accident, that the rifle was sold but more are comming...... I was waiting for over 1 year and Daniel decided to sell it on the spot, i have answered all my phone call and my e-mails with Gary within few seconde since the beggining and, in 1 non answered e-mail because of that car accident and without asking questions, he sold it on his own.

So, i made a phone call, buy my RFB from elwoodepps ( always good experience with them and others too ) and received it within 4 day's
I even bought 1911 .45acp and didn't bother to call whanstall for a price.

So now i will spend my money anywere but not there, sorry Gary and Thank's for your good service and communication
 
agreed! I found them via this forum and rate them A++ for online sales

i am sorry of your situation... but i know people with far worse stories from ellwood epps.
daniel is a stand up guy. if you talked to him on the phone, things would have worked out better
i am so sure. the guys there are top notch, i assure you.

Thank's for your comment my friend, but, if he is a stand up guy, he sit on his butt for this one !!!
He didn't stand up in front of me for shure as he even never reply to my e-mail after he told me the rifle was sold, he didn't try to do something, offer me to hold the next one NOTHING AT ALL lolll
Gary was a gentleman, all was fine, until Mr. one man show decide on HIS OWN to sell the rifle i was waiting for 13 month


But it's OK now, i have found a other new RFB,
i have dealed with almost all other buisness that support CGN and i have NEVER been treat like that ANYWERE, even for few buck loll
So i'll buy were they stand behind what they say and i'll tell the thruth to everybody that ask me what i think about them.

Like i said too, it's MY experience with them, and to me, it's enough to spend my hard earn money were they appreciate it !!!
