Fisher Dietz

I recently was given a scope that has the name Fisher-Dietz on it. I have never heard of this make before and was wondering if anyone else has.
The optics seem quite clear and the scope looks well made.

It is a 4X32 fixed power, says itis nitrogen filled and made in Japan.

Anybody ever heard of such a thing?

Just a bump and a addition


I aquired a set of binos (Fisher-Dietz 20x50). Anyone know if they are any good? Or any History of Fisher-Dietz?

Do the bino optics seem good? The scope I have looks pretty good, but then againmost 4X32 seem pretty clear to look thru.

We at least I am not crazy There is two of us that have heard of these!

The're old and heavy. but the sight picture is pretty clear and sharp (not the best that I've ever used). I didn't pay for them, so the price is right. I looked up fleabay and only found Fisher-Dietz opera glasses. And they were going around $20-50 Cdn. Couldn't find anything substantial using google.

Oh well, they work and they were free.
