Has anyone on CGN used or tried one of these scopes for a shorty AR15? I'm curious as to whether it'll hold up or not? Is it worth the cheap price? Please advise and thank you,

I know someone who has one...the reticle sucks, too thick for any sort of precision...parralax (sp?) can be a problem too.

Stop pretending you can't afford a good scope and spend some money,..as I recall you saved beaucoup dollars on your swiss arms.:D

Suggestions on a shorty AR15 then for scopes? I asked about the Bushnell Trophy 1x24 green/red thing ... people told me to put that on a .22 HAHAHA ... now these fitco scopes are garbage ... what would you suggest ... as I currently am waiting on my restricted license and my friend has a shorty AR15 for me to buy ... but it has the Aimpoint scope on it ... I hate that reddot sheit. Suggestions PLEASE???

p.s. here's the AR15 I'm gonna buy ... need a different scope, gonna change things up a bit ... ;)

For a shorty, I think magnification is a waste. You're not likely to be shooting it past 200 yards anyway, and for that range, a red-dot is your best bet.

If you're getting a 16" or 20" barrel, magnification can play a better role.
