Anybody have/had fitment issue with their aftermarket butt-stock? I have a Fab-Defense stock I am trying to put on a CZ858. The issue is that it will not fit flush against the gun. Whats the fix?

Take a file to the bottom rounded rectangle that slips into the reciever. Do not take off too much. A lot of little strokes and constant rechecking to make sure it fit's snuggly. Some times it's the top part that needs removing but the marks on it will indicate were some materail should be removed for a proper fit and finish.

At first I had the same problem, then I removed the stock and put the bottom part first all the way in...the top had a gap but when I tightened the screw the stock fit perfect...

Maybe I should clarify. Without the mounting screw, the butt fits like it should. It is almost like the mount screw is at the wrong angle. This pic is WITHOUT the mount screw installed.

In my case the screw was not aligned with the receiver thread when the stock in place either. That's why I first inserted the bottom part, get the screw aligned, made few turns and then brought the top to the place and tightened the screw all the way. Anyway, play with it; it should work...

I don't really want to start a new thread on this, so I thought I'd ask here. I went to install a FAB pistol grip on my VZ and was heavily disappointed when I discovered the OEM bolt was too long to make it work. Was there a short bolt that was supposed to come with the FAB grip, or am I missing something. I've searched where I could, but no answers.

Thanks.

Well, after a call to P&D explaining that the bolt was missing, Dennis there sorted me out with a stainless machine bolt that worked just fine. Used a washer and some Loctite to seal it in, but I would have still liked to have the original. Wish I would have known that the bolt was supposed to come with, but it worked out in the end.
