I have a Howa 1500 with a wood stock. Some time ago I had a Timney trigger installed on it. Its a great combination but I wanted to put a Hogue Target stock with full bed block. I now have the stock but there is an issue. The Timney trigger has two small bolts that protrude out. The gunsmith that installed it cut out an inlet so the trigger/action would fit in the wood stock. You can see it in the first picture.
So, the Hogue stock doesn't have that inlet obviously. (See second pic.) So, my question is, can I use a dremel tool to cut out an inlet in the aluminum part of the stock? Would the dremel tool be an appropriate way to go? Alternatives?
Any reason not to make an inlet in the stock? Don't see how else I can get it to fit but would be happy to hear from anyone with knowledge of this issue.

Inlet is directly below the letter K on the edge of the cut out trigger area.
