I was having trouble with the magazine slipping free if you put any pressure from the rear on the mag or when it fired the recoil would cause it to slip free too from the plunger that locks in the rear pin on the magazine.
Just wanted others to know I managed to get it working by pressing it in hard then manipulating the ejection lever several times. Removing the magazine, and repeating this several times. After 6 times I noticed the magazine started locking in place on its own, and now after many times (20+) its starting to go in and lock much smoother.
I haven't noticed much wear on the magazine, though they had been roughed up a bit trying to get it to work with filing parts that looked like they had excess flashing beforehand, so it may be that this caused the one part in specific to file down smoothly.
Anyhow, if anyone else has this issue, hope it helps.
