I would be using the EoTech on a LaRue LT110 mount so it would raise it up that extra .275 or however high it does to give me the 1/3 cowitness. Any comments or pictures on how that works?

I have my eotech right on the rail with no riser and the Troy folder co-witnesses perfectly. Not sure of the benefit to raising it out of allignment with the irons(?)
I've zeroed it all for 200m - haven't shot farther with this setup, so not sure -Is there any way to use the larger ring as a bdc? thoughts on this from anyone?

The Larue LT110 mount allows for you to get your head up higher -- better balance and shooting while moving.

Plus the 1/3rd co-witness keeps the viewing plane uncluttered unless you drop your head back to the irons (and the EO will still co-witness)

Here's a pic taken while using an RRA Dominator mount. It's not exact, but it gives a rough idea of where the reticle sits.

I'll try again tonight, I have some ideas now.

But he stated above that he is going to be getting a riser for his EOtech. So either way he is getting a mount.

Are the 553's out yet??? it's has a 1/4" higher base,and quick throw levers for easy on and off.

Ya they are out in the US but we wont be getting them anytime soon.

I don't think we will be seeing them at all actually...end user cert. only...
