just an update, after some research and talking to a gunsmith it was determined that the follower lever was indeed bent, probably from welding the tab, upwards. Causing the follower to be tilted downward toward the chamber side causing the fail to feed on the last round. I bent the arm down where it should be (didn’t take much) and now it feed flawlessly after over 100 rounds for a test run. Can’t get it to jam if I tried. I figure i would update invade someone else is experiencing the same issues. Thanks
Took my sks out shooing today for the first time. Works fine and seems accurate, but for some reason the last round 98% of the time jams the same way. Can sometimes get it to chamber by racking the bolt back a few times. Fired 60 rounds through it.
