Finding the hard way that the "S&K" scope mount on the Lee-Enfield # 4 had a play, I decided to find and fix this serious problem.

I found that no matter how hard I tightend the center bolt on the "S&K" scopemount, it had a play, which was both visible and made a clicking noise every time i pulled the scope mount.

I found the culprit for this problem, to be the bolt, in which the center nut was fastened to. This nut, which has an build in angle towards the "charger clip bridge" was not large enough to put pressure up against the "charger clip bridge" when the center bolt was tightened.

Therefore, I cut out a thin piece of metal, from a wall picture hook, and placed it front of, and between bolt and the scope mount and thus increased and largened the angle of this nut, and tightened the bolt, and voila, all the play of this instant Lee-Enfield rifle was gone :)
