I had given up on these, now my dreams are alive again. Anyone know if and when they will make it here?

These are pretty neat for sure. Good to see the 7.5 actually making it to market. After some long radio silence, I was wondering if they were going under. Sadly the price seems to be getting higher and higher. Given it is such a proprietary cartridge, getting into one of these will be quite the commitment.

While impressive, I do not think I will get out of 357SIG or 10mmAuto anytime soon.

A solution to an unknown problem??? The only reason I ask the question, is that even the brass is proprietary. And that can be a road to extinction. Gyro Jet anyone?

Ya I wouldn't be surprised if it was short lived too. Given its cost and uniqueness, hard to image there will be anything other than a very limited market. Makes more sense in the US where you can hunt but even still, not many willing to drop that cash on something that will get banged around. Would be cool to have as a collector piece though.

If brass ever became extinct, I expect people would start forming it from 7.62x39 brass: Aside from the brass thickness that would have to be compensated for in powder charges (or reamed), the rim could be turned down from 11.35mm to 10.8mm leaving only trimming and forming.

Interesting cartridge, but in a defensive situation I'd rather have the energy delivery inherent in the heavy 44mag. The gun looks good (typical of CZ/BRNO), but the open sights... I especially like.

The sights are AWESOME, best part of the gun :)
