Flagged by RCMP for buying too much ammo?

On this topic tho, there's a large retailer, site sponsor, local to me, and when you buy ammo from them in person they write your PAL info down on a notepad. They have a list of people who've bought that day -- their name & PAL# iirc. No further info, they don't write calibre or qty. One time I asked the guy "why do you write that down/keep that list? What's the point?" He replied "For the RCMP" which is really a nothing answer. I didn't push it further, but I did wonder why they're keeping this list. Anyone here know anything I don't regarding why they'd do this?

Buy as much as you can afford, there is no limit and nothing is forwarded the RCMP, our club buys 50,000 round skids of 7.5 shotshell for trap a few times a year, never an issue.

by not naming the retailer, your post has no credibility.

Hmm, when the local Cabela's had their grand opening many years ago they had 22Rf on sale for $10 per 500 brick. I picked up 15,000 rounds no one batted a eye. I'm still shooting that ammo and cringe every time I walk by the new $40+ bricks in a store. Buy it cheap and stack it deep.
