Can anyone recommend a flash hider for the 7600 in either 30-06 or .308 and for the 7615 .223?

The 7615 is something Ill be getting in the next while.

I want a 7600P in .308, but they are hard to come by. So I will most likely get the 7600 Carbine and "Maybe" shorten the barrel to 16.5 inch.

For training where some of it will be low light. And personal preference cuz it looks nice.

Thought of a muzzle break as well, but I don't know too much about them.

Thanks.

That would turn your legal rifle to a prohib.

The report of a 16'' barrel would be retarded with a muzzle break...And why would you need one on a 223?

The 7615 comes stock with a 16.5 inch barrel, as does the 7600P.

The 7600 is a pump rifle, so I was under the impression the 16.5 " is legal....... or is it prohib because the barrel is not stock 16.5", and it is the chop that would be under scrutiny.

Factory 16.5 is OK, shortened to 16.5 is not.
Seeing as you will be actually shooting in low light, a flash hider might have some utility. A brake is actually useful, if rapid recovery is a factor.
Given that you could use both, attachments that do both might be the best choice.
Figure $50 - $100 per barrel for installation, plus the cost of the attachments.

Thanks......and the chopping to length is what I forget is a no-no.

Not the trick is to find a shorter 7600 barrel, can recall seeing any on any of our dealers here.
