PA66 (Nylon) is a strong, lower cost material that is impervious to most chemicals and heat. It is filled with long glass-fibres to greatly improve strength and impact resistance compared with older "Glass-Filled Nylon"
Polycarbonate is an extremely strong, transparent material used in a variety of products such as safety glasses and CD/DVD's. It is the same material used in factory SIG magazines. PC is less resistant to harsh chemical solvents than nylon.
Spring is made from hardened 17-7 aerospace stainless steel for years of trouble free service.

Not the .308 version as its a .223 magazine.
Maybe someone with some expertise can provide some clarification?

Absolutely. The 5.56mm side of the house only.
Hitzy, the Swiss Arms family rifle, carbines and CQB, and the FAMAE 540 and 543 as well.

Not the 542 in .308. It is a whole other beast.
