The 590A1 is certainly a better shotgun than an 870 express model. There are of course 18.5 in 590A1s and I own one with a bead sight (Arma coated it, thing is a tank)...but I mean a shotgun with a bayonet! Can't get more tactical than that! Though perhaps not hugely practical :)

Now that i have my Steyr L9 A1 pistol in the mail, i cant help myself thinking that it would be nice to get the L40 A1 in 40S&W... Do you guys have any on order or will there be a possibility of ordering one... ETA maybe.... JP.

Call them! Most retailers will gladly take your money for a gun and hold it until your PAL comes through. They just won't transfer registration and/or let you take it home until you have it in hand.

Yep that's what I did. My RPAL got approved on Wednesday and is still in mail. I was able to pay for the firearm first and have them set it aside for me, and i Just call in with my RPAL information when it arrives. Was VERY hard to control myself and not buy the Sig X-Press model too...
 
Yes, got 60 round factory ammo, 100 brass and bullet and dies ready to reload.
