Flaslight Mount for 1895G?

I was in contact with those guys in Alaska who make the Pilot out of the marlin. They told me to contact a guy in Northern BC. I tried him a dozen times no luck, then someone tole me he was gone for a few months.

I am also very interested.

bear defense is more than just protecting life and limb, its about looking uber cool on teh intraweb as well :dancingbanana:

I dunno guys...Flashligh mount on a hunting lever gun?...then your rifle is pointing at whatever your flashlight is illuminating...not sure if your hunting buddy who stepped out to take a leak is going to appreciate being spotlighted & swept by you & your trusty Marlin in mid stream while your trying to find your way back from the privy!:)

Here is Geologist's.

Looks good, and have a seen a couple that look just as good or better than this one.

When my shotgun was my bear gun I had a light on it. Now that my bear gun is a lever gun, are you telling me the bears will stay away after dark out of respect?

I'm a little concerned about the mount in Geologist's pic, it doesn't look like there is room for the bipod and laser?? :p

Maybe I'll mount a big honking scope to top it all off!:D

I have (in the past) aimed a shotgun at 2 AM at bears rummaging through the cook tent while trying to hold a flashlight in my left hand. This sucks.

We have the technology! Let's use it! :dancingbanana:

A flashlight mount on what? Jeez!! Next there'll be a bi-pod mount, then a bayonet attachment and before long you'll have it looking like an 870. On either, even if you just used duct tape all you really have still constitutes a frivolous waste of duct tape.

Exactly.

I wonder which bear is going to care more, the one you cant hit because your too busy dinkin around with your flashlight in hand, or the one that is dead on the ground because you placed three nice kill zone shots on him before he could move.
