flat based bullet

I've just started reloading and have all rcbs stuff. I did about 100 rounds of 22-250 and thought i was a pro. Then I started the 204. I can not get these flat based 32gr v-max to start at all. When I try to force them it bends the brass. I tried to adjust the die but it doesn't seem to work. Help please!

Chamfer the neck. Both RCBS and Lee have a neat little tool.

Ok I do have a deburing tool at home so use that?

Yes. Break the edge, give it a slight chamfer, this should solve the problem. Lets the flat base funnel into the case.

Ditto on chamfering. I'd imagine those little tiny bullets might be finicky anyway though, but getting a good chamfer on the neck will help.

After I've chamfered and deburred, I also like to twist the case mouth in a piece of steel wool just to smooth that tiny sharp edge a little also.
