hi all,

What are my scope options (with magnification >6x) in Flat-Dark-Earth (FDE)? So far, I've come up with the Leupold Mark 4 and US Optics (custom order). Both are fairly expensive options - are there any others in a more reasonable price range that you're aware of?

Thanks in advance!

S&B, Bushnell ERS tactical.. both are expensive though.

I think Burris makes (or at least they used to) a Fullfield tactical in FDE and they also used to make an Extreme Tactical in coyote brown .. probably the cheapest route.

I'd prefer not to do that, if possible... I prefer a professional, chip-resistant finish.

Are you more concerned with looks or performance? My bet is looks seeing as you're concerned with colour. If a factory finish is desired then be prepared to spend serious coin.

thanks for the leads guys... am checking into them... its for an EBR with a FDE chassis... although by looking at all the variants / shades of tan / FDE, a perfect match is starting to seem unlikely, so perhaps matte black IS a better choice...

Vortex Razor series all come with a tan finish.

The new Bushnell Elite Tactical scopes come in FDE too. We just received one. 3.5-21x 50mm 34mm tube.

I looked at it today, nice scope for sure. Its a G2 reticle, MIL turrets, FFP, ED glass... This scope is priced in the Nightforce range so some guys might be reluctant to spend that kind of money on a "Bushnell". I thought it was a very nice scope.
