Ok you precision rimfire people!

I am looking into upgrading my trigger on my "dream" 10/22 build. Right now I am rocking a volquartsen Carbon Fiber THM Tension barrel in a magpul Hunter X-22 stock. I have plans for a bushnell AR 3-9 Scope. But now I am looking at the trigger.

I would love a 2 stage trigger even though it will cost me almost as much as the rifle did, but that's the point of having a dream gun isn't it? To be just what I wanted.

So I have set my sights on the Kidd 2 Stage Trigger pack and am unsure as to what might work better for my needs. Flat or curved trigger. Is anyone able to give this young buck some advice for one or the other. The grip on the hunter stock is almost pistol grip but not quite, but I've never use a flat trigger. Help me 22-kenobi's! Your my only hope!

Pic for interest.

i run the curved on my Kidd 2 stage and i really like it.
trying to think if i run any flat triggers........ cant thing of any of my guns that run flat triggers off hand.

Plus one for Tom E Gun. Personal preferences will vary, but I've found that the straight blade on the two-stage KIDD trigger offers greater sensitivity and control in my hands than the curved version. I attribute this (at least in part) to the fact that the curved trigger naturally directs my finger to the mid-point on the blade (shorter lever, less mechanical advantage, less travel before firing), whereas I find that my natural trigger-finger position is slightly lower on the straight trigger, which seems to give me greater sensitivity and more precise trigger control IMHO. Either would make a beautiful addition to your gun, however, and I strongly suspect that you'll love either one.

Well I emailed Kidd directly and asked them what they would think, and they went around the shop floor asking their people what they preferred for that stock. Apparently it was about a 65/35 split in favor of the Flat for the X-22.
