flat spring or round?

Was checking out some parts for a SAA and see that round(wire) springs are offered in place of the standard flat version for lock/sear/trigger return springs.
Wondering if anyone has had any experience with the wire springs and any thoughts as to performance,durability etc.

I like the flat ones better.
the other ones are just a cheeper way to make the same thing, im sure they work fine.

I have made and used flat springs for many years. It is pretty unusual for one to break. I think broken mainsprings are a result of the shortcomings of metalurgy in the 1800s as well as in heat treating. I have seen a few modern ones break as well and assume it is a result of poor heat treating
