Flintlock pistol kit. Where to buy?

I want to build a couple of flintlock pistols. I know Dixie Works and others make the kits, but no American supplier will ship to Canada.

So where can I find these kits in Canada? I can't seem to find any.

Can anyone here help?

You know that they are in the same classification as cartridge pistols, right? As in, not classified as antiques, like the flintlock rifles are.

Yer gonna have to deal with a gun dealer to get those ones in.

Some years back Loyalist Arms had kits I believe. You might get lucky there.

What's the situation on Track of the Wolf, for sending parts across the line?

Seems to me you could at least end up with a quality product rather than a kit built to a low price (I have not seen any blackpowder kits that were very high in the food chain, if you know what I mean)

I believe a gunsmith can order a pistol kit. Do you have a gunsmith in your area ?Might be worth checking out.

Loyaist Arms in Nova Scotia had what I wanted, and I ordered two pistol kits today. Delivery is next month.

Now I got to get going on the duelling pistol case. I think oak would be nice.
