Flip up irons on Tavor

Hey guys

Do all Tavors come with removable flip up iron sights as well as the ones in the rail? I ordered a Tavor from SFRC and its alot cheaper then most dealers...has me wondering if they removed the iron sights to cut on cost? The rifle is $150 less then most dealers. Not that i'm really concerned but couldn't get ahold of anyone at SFRC to ask and they didn't answer my email. Anyone else buy one from them???

Well got an email from SFRC and in fact they do not come with removable iron sights..thus the price drops by $150. I think Frontier is doing the same. Are the removeable iron sights that come on some Tavors quailty? I had the Troys on my XCR and liked them.

Interesting. Yes I would think this would lower the price.

The second set of sights (recent purchase) have a tritium insert.

I do prefer paying the lower price as I always have an optic mounted plus they have built in irons but just a heads up for potential buyers.

I bought mine locally last year from Coastal Outdoors, and it came with flip up iron sights.

They're ok...but worth $150? Naw...probably the tritium front that makes it pricey

No, its just i cant shoot for sh!t with aperture sights. I need someone to show me at the range how to shoot with those things, cause I just don't get it.

The flip up sights are not bad though little heavy and dont fold down all that low. I would rather save the $150 and use the rail ones myself, they have tritium as well and work pretty good.

Is this the restricted version or non...if its a non-res thats a heck of a good deal. Where did you buy it?

I can't see that on their ad...but I am a bit slow and blind at times...lol

I took mine off anyway,they were wayyyy to low for me to use. So I will save them for my vz 58 project whenever I get around to it.

I did the same. I find that even when folded they're still really bulky on the rifle. I'd like a set of Troy's but dat price tho....Ugh.
