I've seen plenty sr 22s with magpul sights. I'm just wondering are the the real Magpul or magpul PTS. How is the accuracy for standard magpul vs PTS.
How well does it hold zero? It's not that I'm cheap and want to buy pts sights, but it was all I could find online with out the dreaded red writing. Out of Stock
Thanks,

Kal

IIRC DILLIGAF had some airsoft MBUS and hated them. Ive come to learn thru financial loss that airsoft parts are complete and utter junk. They put all their efforts into making it look the part and minimal effort into making it work properly if at all. Ive got an airsoft aimpoint micro that isnt bright enough to use outside on a cloudy day, put your money into real parts that work from a company with an obligation to honour a warranty without forcing you to spend most of the purchase price to ship it back to a foreign country. Plus if I remember correctly the chinese charge full US retail for their crap, search various popular AR stocks on ebay. Theres cheap junk being sold for more than the cost of the real deal parts in Canada.

I just put a set of the knock off Magpuls on my recently acquirred used SR22 and am very pleased with them.
Went out back by the river and was plinking off hand at ice chunks across the river and was pleasantly suprised with the results. At the time, I was actually more interested in comparing my numerous mags with different ammo to see if their were any jams, etc. so the effectiveness of the $45 "Magpuls" was a pleasant suprise.
I adjusted the windage a bit and had to "crunch" up my sight line abit as I didn't bother changing the height of the front post, once I get to the range and properly set them up I'll know more but as of now, pretty satisfied particularly considering the price.

Buying cheap airsoft stuff has been a 50/50 experience for me. I'm using a replica Elcan M145 optic. It has been surprisingly awesome. It has kept zero and is rock solid on the rail. Heavy as f*** but really robust. The cheapo Magpul CTR stock I ordered however almost made me cry. The rubber buttpad wouldn't even stay on. The dark earth color was way off from the real deal magpul FDE colour. The spring for the lop adjuster was squeaky. There were sharp plastic casting seams everywhere. The friction lock wasn't even "real" and useable. I could go on....

I geuss I should mention the ARMS aimpoint mount that I got for $25 that so far seems ok. I had to file it to fit my strikefire but it does lock up tight and seems to hold zero. On the other hand I did get an Eotech/Eolad clone setup that I wish I never wasted 75 bucks on. It was also too dim to use outside w/ red illumination and green wasnt even bright enough inside. The windage and elevation were just screws that turned, occasionally moving the reticule some but not always. The adjustments on the laser were insanely touchy and had zero resistance to them, the laser was also not bright enough to use outside. The base for the Eotech is now a mount for a GoPro camera and the laser is my dog's favourite gun accessory. He knows exactly where I keep it in the gun room :p Iron Glove, who did you buy the MBUS clones from? They could be one of those rare knock-offs that actually work!
