flood of rifles for sale coming?

I'd say no. Anyone wishing to sell their unregistered firearms could have done so before.......and buyer could register or not. Nothing has or will really change(d). If you're license expires, you become a criminal. I don't really see what all the fuss is about. It's one small step forward for us - that's a good thing.
 
When c-68 was coming into play I thought there would be a pile of people trying to get rid of their guns before they had to register. I noticed a bit of this but but nothing major. I'd suspect the same is going to happen again. Family guns that were kept in the attic will probably just find their way back into the gun cabinet or be passed to the next generation.

Things will be business as usual here on the forum.
 
You will still need a PAL or POL to buy. Especially from retailers. I don't think there will be a huge number of people getting their ticket right away. However, if as a community we continue to promote what we do to new people they will probably be much more likely to commit to the sport now that there is less red tape. In time gun sales may show a steady increase.

This makes the future much more positive. The more gun owners the less likely future governments will try this BS again.

Regardless of party politicians are at their core nothing more than whores who will bend over to the one with the most votes to give. We need to make sure that that it is us.
