Fluted bolt for Savage Model 12?

Hi guys,

I was looking at blinging up my Savage Model 12 (.308), and found this, "PTG Bolt Body Savage 10, Short Action Spiral Fluted" at Midway USA... Would this thing fit my Model 12? Its just the bolt body, and I would have to get it assembled, but am just wondering if it would fit.... I like the look of it, and would consider getting one if its a go.

They also have an awesome Bolt Handle, just like the 110BA, and it will fit on the Model 12, I'd like to get the spiral fluted bolt, and the new Bolt knob.... It would look killer, and the bolt knob would be alot better than the oversized ball that's on it now!

talk to any canadian gunsmith or dealer in "canada" and you would have better luck getting it to your door step

it takes off a few ounces of weight.

Its also to help the bolt function with dirt or other debris on it, instead of it getting between the blot body and action making it harder to function, it instead rides in the grooves of the fluting. I personally can't see much dirt getting on my rifle's bolt while I am sitting at the bench shooting, but I could see it getting on it if I dropped by accident.
