FLYER NOW LIVE - 2024 Annual Hunting and Target Sports Sale

I would suggest updating the picture for the Stoeger m3500 DRT, that's the new 2023 model, not what's actually in the box. You're the third retailer I've seen now listing them for sale with the wrong picture.

One cashier during their biggest sale of the year made for a long wait to cash out. They used to have multiple cashiers and used a different exit so things didn't back up. Also, saw a few people purchase items that weren't on sale today, but were on sale another day of the sale that the poor lone cashier had to return, holding up the line even more. These retailers that have different day 'door crashers' during a three day sale should just make them all on the first day. It's not going to draw more people in. It's a lot easier to just show up instead of trying to purchase on their web site at any time if it's a good deal, but paying for that deal was a real pain in the ass this time with quite a few people getting annoyed and feeling sorry for the cashier left on her own at the same time.

i know shipping ammo can be expensive buy im getting quotes of 200-300 bucks to ship 5 boxes of 9mm less then 2 hours away to toronto. that seems a bit steep, is the calculator calibrated right

Guy in front of me tried to buy 10 flats shotgun shells, flyer clearly says 5 per pal per day…. But I agree, make all the door crashers active at once. I live 2 hrs away and I’m not going back tomorrow

These guys have higher than average shipping price. Cost me $68 for 5000 ginex large rifle primers to BC. They were the only place i seen selling bricks at $99 though. $90 bricks of BR4 primers is the best I've seen in years. Some good deals on this sale. Have to call in and try to get a proper shipping Quote on dangerous goods

That's the other thing. It's a sale. Forget the limits. They make their money anyway based on units sold. Just sell them. But, yeah, the sales on certain items on certain days is just dumb, especially if someone from out of town travelled a long way and then is told the other item they want isn't on sale until the following day. Not the first time they have done this for this sale. Just make those door crashers all open on the first day. That's when the really interested people are going anyway. Hope they have a good sale the rest of the weekend but not travelling back for certain day sales.

Thanks for the feed back. We agree and understand this was a mishap. Because of the Canadian firearms centers (CFC) limited hours, and having less people answering the phones at the CFC for license verifications we were concerned the bottle neck would happen at the sales counter with people waiting forever for reference number checks for firearms, mags, etc. So we made a judgement call and removed that second till and made it a dedicated license verification machine on the sales floor. It's likely a no win with these new regulations, but we will defiantly talk about how to do this better in the future. Thank you so much for the feed back, we need it to help be better.

Sorry i missed the second part of this.
For the door crashers, it's something we want feed back on. We stopped it for a few years and the feed back we got from our local farmers specifically was they were disappointed because they couldn't show up until Friday or Saturday as they had to tend to the crops and cattle we all locally enjoy. Many of our local farmers here in Southern Ontario do not have phones or internet either. There feed back was to re-add the door crashers to allow some of our great local farmers the abilities to get some of the deals as well. With St. Jacobs farmers market right in our backyard, we want to do the best we can to support these people that feed us.
Thank you so much for the feed back, again we will be talking about this as well for future sales.
