Saw the FMK 9C1 for sale today, and was wondering if anyone has any input?

It's a cheap polymer frame striker fired pistol, but the trigger can #### the hammer to restrike the primer unlike most striker fired pistols... made in USA

Is this a new gen 2 pistol, or an older model?

The new one is basically a clone of a Glock 19.

Trigger is a bit funky. It would be a good cheap carry pistol. But for a regular shooter, spend the extra $ for a M&P or Glock. FMC has more plastic parts than I like.

They shoot nice but the one owner i know has had a running issue with light strikes. Springs have been replaced on warrentee a couple of times...i think it finally worked it self out and became reliable but i'm not sure. Was a very comfortable gun in the hand and pointed well. Trigger was pretty much like any of the plastic striker fired guns. not worse just creepy and mushy. think m&P crossed with sr9

I've had mine now for a couple months. Had a couple stoppages in the first 1000 rnds but it seemed to sort itself out. All my stoppages were that the slide was failing to go fully foreward in the middle of the mag I was firing and it seemed to happen in the first few mags. I stripped and cleaned it before proceeding and it didn't happen again each shooting session. Since I've got it, the trigger seems smoother and more broken in. Either that or I'm just used to it now. I don't regret the purchase at all and I find it's a fun pistol to shoot. Hope this helps.

Cheers

I have two of these pistols. The first one has light strike issues. the only ammo it will ignite 100% is with Federal primers.
