Fn 15 ar15

I don't know guys, FN looks fine but a Colt Canada barrel is at the top of the heap, I would say top 5 for sure.

I don't want to start a war of words here, but I saw no great accuracy difference between Colt Canada and my older Armalite. Quite similar. I will come nowhere near shooting out either barrel as most civilian owners won't.

Nothing. My DD has out shot every colt it has come across. FN is quality. But the colt fans are die hard about their beloved CC

yeah I'm a colt fan too but it does get ridiculous at times. DD and FN are top notch I must say, I own a few Colt items like uppers and a few parts along with DD and from what I have seen I'm impressed with DD. All probably pick up an FN down the road as well. DD and FN both make fantastic barrels but I would give the edge to CC and HK above all.

The FN rifles are just a enter level AR. You pay for what you get. The sales rep at SHOT even admitted. They are suppose to bring out a upgraded deluxe version that is suppose to have a cold hammer forged barrel on it, but nothing has happen yet.

The FN15 tactical with the chromelined CHF barrel has been out for awhile, even the Canadian dealers have them. The non-tactical model FN15 are button rifled chromelined.

There is a military collectors series coming out. It includes the M4, M16 clones and the M249S. The M4/M16 are going to be a mil spec with a cold hammer forged barrel and KAC RAS.

What were the barrels like that were made by FN for the army as M16A2?
What is the difference between FN and FNMI?
How do they compare to the civilain line up of FN15?
