FN 1912 chamber?

Hi,

I got this nice little FN 1912 rifle a while back. It's not marked with the chambering. Doesn't seem to like to feed shorts but will take a .22lr no problem. Never shot it much.

I hadn't thought much about it but was doing some unrelated reading which led me to question the chamber of this rifle. Any good way to tell if I have a .22lr safe chamber?

There are no markings indicating the chambering. Not sure if its .22L or LR. Perhaps I can go by the twist? Since a .22lr doesn't seem to get jammed up in the rifling when I chamber a round.

Should be around 1:16 twist for a LR, and 1:20 for Longs and Shorts.

Easy enough to check.

Based on the twist looks like its a .22lr.
