FN AR 308LFB or Benelli MR-1 (308)

could I have some opinions on these 2 rifles. Any better options in this price range? Looking to buy a non- restricted "lightweight" semi-auto. Must be 6mm or larger for hunting in the Yukon. Not interested in hunting version semi-auto's, or anything 7.62 x 39 as I want a somewhat flat trajectory. Thanks in advance 325 wsm

The Benelli MR1 does not come in 308. I think your probably referring to the Benelli R1 which is available in hunting calibers.

The FN rifile is heavy and it takes a unique mag, looks like a FAL mag but it is not. The mags are not cheap.

Not a lot of choices. M1A will likely be a bit heavy (though there are stock options available). You can wait for the Famae 542 or Swiss SAPR though either of those might not be much lighter. What about an RFB ?

I think I got confused and thought the mr1 came in 308 if it's only in their r-1 I'm not really interested. Can you get the RFB in calibers larger than 223 ? Thanks again.
