Quite a reasonable shooter but not a true collector’s item, except for the fact that it bears an Israeli marking.
Subject proof stamp is “often incorrectly interpreted as the Star of David”.
Like other thousands of specimens sold as surplus, this one shows much wear “due to long and hard service life”.
According to author Anthony Vanderlinden, in FN Browning Pistols, more than 90 percent of subject pistols were never marked by Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) or Israeli law-enforcement.
This one is, on right side of frame, above trigger.
