DO NOT DO THIS somebody in "The County" was charged with poaching for doing this.
It was not turkey season, he had the decoys and a call and a Rifle. Told the game warden he was hunting coyotes and they charged him and let the court decide.:eek:
 
I will add that scouting pays off. If you shoot groundhogs put them in the bush and set a trail camera up. If you find a road kill deer drag it into some cover and set one up on the carcass. Coyotes have a large range and if they are in one block today they can be 3 concessions away by tomorrow. I got slightly discouraged when I first started. Stand after stand turned up empty and not even producing a howl. After I called in and shot my first that got the ball rolling. I learn something everytime I go out and realize how intelligent they really are. If calling coyotes was easy everyone would be out there doing it.
